Notes
Three notes: what to check in a Greatfon alternative, fixes for a viewer that will not load, and how this kind of viewer reads what an account made public.
| § | Section | Title | Summary |
|---|---|---|---|
| Operation | How Greatfon works, part by part | Your browser requests a public profile from greatfon.net, which relays it to a separate data supplier; greatfon.net keeps no lookup log. The supplier is given the typed handle, not your IP; your Instagram login plays no part. Story viewer lists and private profiles are beyond reach here. | |
| Alternatives | Which Greatfon alternative fits your task? | Pick by job, not by name. On September 24, 2026 one public account went through four viewer addresses: a recent story showed on one (anonyig.com, whose item was marked "1 days ago"), highlight sets on two, and two had no working Instagram viewer behind them. None of them opened private accounts. This site asks for no login or payment and gives one download button per item. | |
| Fault diagnosis | Is Greatfon down? Read the message first | One control lookup on a big public account settles most of it. If that loads, lookups here work at that moment: run the handle you came for once more and read its message. Each message on the page maps to one action. A locked profile or an empty Stories tab is not an outage. |
